Police Commissioner Vinoy Kumar Choubey Holds Traffic Planning Review in Chakan and Mahalunge
Pimpri: Commissioner of Police Vinoy Kumar Choubey conducted an inspection of the Chakan and Mahalunge police station limits today to address the ongoing traffic congestion issues. Following the inspection, a joint traffic planning review meeting was held at Gabriel Company in Chakan to discuss and strategize solutions.
The meeting saw the participation of several key officials and stakeholders, including Khed Legislative Assembly Member MLA Dilip Mohite Patil, an officer from the National Highway Authority of India, MIDC Engineer, Tehsildar Khed, Group Development Officer Khed, Executive Officer of Chakan Municipal Council, Transport Commissioner and Transport Inspector, Pimpri Chinchwad Chief Engineer, three officers from Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority, representatives from the Public Works Department, Road Development Corporation, Project Officer, Village Development Officer, the personal assistant of Hon’ble MP Shirur Amol Kolhe, two contractors from the National Highway Authority of India, two officers from the State Transport Department, Deputy Commissioner of Police Transport, and other police officials from Chakan and Mahalunge.
Apart from this, there were also present the Deputy Commissioner of Police Transport Parivahan-3, Assistant Police Inspector Transport, Assistant Police Inspector Chakan Division, Police Inspector Transport, as well as the Senior Police Inspector of Chakan and Mahalunge Police Station, officers of the Industrial Development Corporation, and human resources officers of private companies.
During the meeting, a comprehensive review of the traffic problems in the Chakan and Mahalunge areas was conducted. Commissioner Choubey emphasised the need for immediate measures to alleviate the current traffic congestion and stressed the importance of joint action with relevant departments to implement effective solutions.
