Pune: After heated exchanges between the Shiv Sena (UBT) and the BJP parties over Uddhav’s Thackeray’s recent challenge to the Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, today, Uddhav Thackeray once again took fiery jabs at Devendra Fadnavis and the central leadership of the BJP party. He was talking in the party’s ‘Shiv Sankalp Melawa’ in Pune.

On the background of the upcoming state assembly elections, the Shiv Sena (UBT) party took the ‘Shiv Sankalp Melawa’ in Pune. While talking in this melawa, Uddhav Thackeray unleashed a barrage of criticism on the trio of Devendra Fadnavis, Amit Shah, and PM Narendra Modi.

Calls Fadnavis a “Bedbug”

Astoundingly, Uddhav Thackeray said bedbug to Fadnavis. He said, “In my last speech, I challenged that either you will remain or me. But someone thought that I had challenged him. But I do not give a challenge to the bedbug. Who am I, and who are you? I am the civilised Maharashtra, and you are the party that robs the Maharashtra.”

“I do not challenge bedbugs. Bedbugs are needed to be crushed. Someone took my challenge on him and asked me not to challenge. But I will say, who are you? You are not even worthy enough to challenge,” Thackeray added.

Taking Swipe on Mungantiwar over Waghnakhe:

Uddhav Thackeray also criticised the cultural minister of the state, Sudhir Mungantiwar, over the decision to bring back Shivaji Maharaj’s Waghnakhe’ (tiger claws) into Maharashtra. “Mungantiwar brought Waghnakhe. But Waghnakhe only has meaning when there is a real tiger behind the claws. Is there any logic if Mungantiwar is behind those claws?” Thackeray pinched.

Referred Amit Shah as the descendant of Ahmad Shah Abdali:

Castigating Amit Shah for his earlier remarks on him, Uddhav Thackeray responded to Amit Shah by calling him the descendent of Ahmad Shah Abdali. Thackeray said, “If we look into the history, we will realise that Shahistekhan (the maternal uncle of Aurangzeb) was clever. After his three fingers were cut at Pune’s Lal Mahal, he never tried to come to Maharashtra. Had they (Amit Shah) taken any lesson from it, they would not have come to Maharashtra.”

“But they come. They come to see the blows given by the people of Maharashtra. The descendant of Ahmad Shah Abdali had come to Pune a few days ago. There was one Ahmad Shah, and he is Amit Shah,” Thackeray added.

Comment on Hindutva

He also fired shots at PM Modi, criticising him on the issue of Hindutva. He said, “Do we need to learn Hindutva from the people who ate cakes of Nawaz Sharif? We never leave the Hindutva aside.
