Pune: IT couple’s love for farming flourishes in America (Video)
Pune: A Puneite IT couple’s love for farming has not diminished even after shifting to the United States of America (USA). They bought land in Atlanta, where they established the Patil-Kulkarni Farm.
A video clip of the couple working at their farm has gone viral in social media. The IT couple, in the video clip, claims that they have established a hamlet in Atlanta, where they have various domestic animals such as hens, goats, sheep, cows, horses and a donkey too.
They grow vegetables for their daily needs here. A glimpse of their farm has also been shown in the clip. They have also reserved a section for floriculture, where bee-keeping is done too.
Now, they have launched agro tourism for other US citizens. Visitors can taste Maharashtrian food at the farm. The facility of home stay is also provided. Netizens have appreciated their work on social media.
One of the users commented: ‘You have really preserved the Mahrashtrian culture very well. It is impossible to do such things abroad, which you have done. I salute your work’.
