Pune: Witness to Will Deed Abducted and Beaten; Hadapsar Police Register Case Against Seven

Pune: In a startling incident, a 56-year-old individual was abducted and assaulted after he signed the will deed of his sister’s mother-in-law as a witness. In this regard, Hadapsar police have registered a complaint against seven individuals.

The accused in this case have been identified as Popat Baban Shendkar (age 55, a resident of Fatima Nagar), Saurabh Popat Shendkar (age 24), Sunil Kisan Shendkar (age 41, a resident of Fatima Nagar), Sameer Ramdas Shendkar (age 38, a resident of Azad Nagar, Wanwadi), Ganesh Ramdas Shendkar (age 33), Mahesh Dattatray Shendkar (age 33), and Vighnesh Dnyaneshwar Shendkar (age 19, a resident of Dhadge Nagar, Fatima Nagar).

In this case, Dileep Baban Ingle (age 56, a resident of Kalepadal, Hadapsar) has lodged a complaint at Hadapsar police station. This incident took place on June 4, 2024, around 10 in the night.

As per the police information, the plaintiff’s sister’s mother-in-law, Tulsabai Baban Shendkar, prepared a will deed of her 6 guntha land in Muhammadwadi. In that will deed, Tulsabai gave this land to her son and plaintiff’s brother-in-law, Jaysingh Shendkar. The accused claimed that Jaysingh Shendkar acquired this land by cheating Tulsabai Shendkar.

Therefore, the accused forcibly placed the plaintiff into the Ertiga car from the site at Sade Satranali. He was then kidnapped and taken to the house of Jaysingh Shendkar. There, the plaintiff was beaten with hands and kicks. In this assault, the plaintiff’s back and spine were severely injured.

The accused also beat the plaintiff’s brother-in-law, Jaysingh Shendkar, deleted the voice recording recorded in his mobile phone, and broke the mobile phone. Assistant Police Inspector Hasina Shikalgar is investigating further in this case.
