Pune: Man Killed in Brutal Assault Over Love Affair at Dandekar Bridge; Police Arrest Three

In a tragic incident, a syndicate of a few people killed one individual by assaulting with hands and legs over the anger of his love affair with the sister of one of the accused. This incident took place on the third floor of the public toilet at Dandekar Bridge on Monday at around 7.15 in the evening.

The deceased individual has been identified as Kaustubh Jaydeep Naik (age 29, a resident of Sadashiv Peth). In this case, police have succeeded in detaining two culprits, including two minors. Pankaj Nangre (age 31, a resident of Veet Bhatti, Dandekar Bridge) has lodged a complaint in this regard at Parvati Police Station.

According to the information given by the police, Kaustubh Naik was having an affair with the sister of one of the accused. Because of this, the accused were angry with Kaustubh. Therefore, when Kaustubh Dandekar came to the Dandekar bridge on Monday, six people targeted him and started beating him.

At that time, the complainant asked the accused not to fight. However, the accused asked him not to intervened in them and killed Kaustubh by assaulting him with a stick and hands and legs.

In this case, police have arrested three people, including two minors, so far. Police Inspector Amol More is investigating further in this case.
