Pune: Maha Yuti candidate Sunil Tingre, accompanied by Jagdish Mulik, holds padyatra in Vadgaon Sheri segment, overwhelming response by citizens
Pune: Poll campaign has reached its peak in the city now. Candidates and party leaders are busy conducting rallies and padyatras. Polling will take place on November 20. Therefore, less time is left for campaigning.
In Vadgaon Sheri, NCP (SP) candidate Bapusaheb Pathare and sitting NCP (AP) MLA Sunil Tingre are the main rivals. On Tuesday (November 12), Tingre conducted a padyatra through Saibaba Mandir, Sai Nagar, Sunita Nagar, Dhanlaxmi Society, Shivraj Shala, Hanuman Mandir, Mauli Mandir, Rajendra Nagar and Sainath Nagar.
Tingre was accompanied by Jagdish Mulik. Citizens responded overwhelmingly to the padyatra. Women welcomed Tingre by performing the traditional ‘Aukshan’. Citizens were present in a large number.
