Pune: Bapusaheb Pathare promises extension of Metro route to Viman Nagar during his padyatra
Pune: A grand padyatra, promising strong development, led by MVA candidate Bapusaheb Pathare was conducted in Viman Nagar on Tuesday (November 12) under the Vadgaon Sheri constituency.
Main office-bearers and workers from the MVA were present. Local residents participated with a large number and expressed their support to Pathare.
He promised job opportunities, infrastructural facilities, education and health for all and reiterated his commitment to all-round development of the constituency.
The padyatra passed through Ganpati Chowk, Yamuna Nagar, Datta Mandir Chowk, Mhada Colony, Ganga Puram society, Sanjay Park society, Viman Darshan and other areas. Citizens responded well to the walkathon. They welcomed Pathare by showering him with flower petals and garlands.
Pathare promised that he would make each citizen a partner in development. He said that he would begin a new era of development in the Viman Nagar area. Pathare said, “I have resolved to ensure all-round development. I have resolved to extend the Metro railway service up to the Sant Tukaram Maharaj Airport. This will streamline traffic. I will honour the promises made to you.”
Pathare held a direct dialogue with citizens and understood their issues and problems. He promised cleanliness, adequate water supply, good roads, women’s security and job opportunities for youths. He said that his main aim was to speed up development and provide an excellent standard of living to local people.
