Pune:
Yesterday, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh took a grand rally at Golibar Maidan Pune for the campaign of Sunil Kamble, the official candidate of the BJP Mahayuti coalition for Pune Cantonment Assembly Constituency. While speaking at this, Singh assured confidence that in Maharashtra, the Mahayuti coalition government will come to power.

On this occasion, Mahayuti candidate MLA Sunil Kamble, former minister Dilip Kamble, Rajya Sabha member Dr. Medha Kulkarni, BJP City President Dheeraj Ghate, RPI Athavale Group City President Sanjay Sonawane, Shrinath Bhimale, Archana Patil, Sushant Nigde, Mahesh Punde, Vivek Yadav, and Priyanka Shrigiri, along with the office bearers of the constituent parties in the Mahayuti alliance, were present.

While attending the rally, Rajnath Singh said, “A few months ago Lok Sabha elections were held here and in Haryana. The NDA government did not get the expected success in those elections in these two states. However, people have shown their preference for the NDA government in Haryana in the assembly elections. And the same history will happen in Maharashtra too. I believe that the Mahayuti government will come to power in Maharashtra as well.”

At this time, Singh also criticised Congress. Singh said that the Congress has been the government for the longest time in the country. However, they have not been able to reduce poverty and unemployment. Speaking further, Rajnath Singh said, “No one can deny the contribution of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar for the development of modern India, but currently Congress is spreading a fake narrative about the constitution made by Babasaheb Ambedkar. In fact, the Congress had systematically defeated Dr. Ambedkar in the elections in Maharashtra.” Singh further said that the Congress never honoured Babasaheb Ambedkar. Also, the Congress party did not give the Bharat Ratna award to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.

He said that politics should be done not only for making government but for development and making the country strong. “We have always advocated the concept of women-centric development. Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana and Ujjala Yojana are part of it. Through Ayushman Bharat Yojana, we have taken care of the health of senior citizens. On the contrary, the Congress did not think about women’s empowerment,” said Singh. Singh also applauded the BJP’s efforts to bring the bill in the parliament for equal opportunity to women in parliamentary politics.

“BJP has never defied the constitution. In fact, the Congress has cheated the country by amending the preamble of the constitution. Now Congress is committing the sin of dividing the country into castes through the caste census,” Singh added. He challenged to Congress to announce how much reservation they will give to which caste before this census. Rajnath Singh also said that the BJP united the country by removing Article 370, and today, due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s political weight in the world has increased in the last ten years.

Dilip Kamble said, “While developing the Pune Cantonment Assembly Constituency for the last 10 years, we have resolved many issues under the guidance of the Pune Municipal Corporation and Mahayuti Government. Whether it will be the issue of the Ghorpadi flyover or the drinking water issue. Today, the work of taking India forward is going on under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. So, to develop Maharashtra, vote for development by pressing the button in front of the lotus during the upcoming polls.”

Mahayuti’s candidate, Sunil Kamble, said, “We are facing the election by taking the issue of development and work done by the Mahayuti government so far.” Therefore, he urged the voters to consider whether they would vote for a candidate who supports criminals or would they vote for a him who works for people.

At this time, Singh also applauded Kamble and said that he has a bright political future in the coming time.
