Pune: Former Corporator Latatai Dhayarkar Passed Away Today at the Age of 66

The former corporator of Ward No. 21 Ghorpadi-Koregaon Park, Latatai Dhayarkar, passed away today. She had been suffering from an illness for the past few days. She was 66 years old. She is survived by her husband, children, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren. She was the mother of a famous personality of the Mundhwa-Keshav Nagar area and BJP general secretary of Hadapsar constituency, Kishor Dhayarkar.
From an ordinary housewife, Latatai Dhayarkar became a corporator of PMC on the BJP ticket in 2017. While being active in politics, she focused on various development works in the entire ward. She especially focused on sustainable development work while working as a corporator. She did various works like the police post, wrestling arena, and immersion ghat on the canal.
But while doing this, she always stayed away from the limelight. During the Corona period, when she was sick, she implemented a system from home to do various work in the ward, serving the people. She has worked in various positions in the municipality. Various social organisations have honoured her with many awards.
She had been ill for the past few days and was undergoing treatment at Ruby Hospital. She passed away at around 4 p.m. today. A lot of people are expressing their grief after hearing the news of her death.
