Pune: Faraskhana Police Arrested Two Individuals for Attempting to Kill Businessman After Minor Argument

In a startling incident, two individuals brazenly struck a brick on the businessman’s head after a minor confrontation and attempted to kill him. In this regard, the Faraskhana Police have arrested two accused on the spot.
The names of the arrested individuals are Vinod Apparao Mane (age 35, a resident of Guruji Talim near Ganpati Mandir, Budhwar Peth) and Chirag Bhajanlal Nimgaonkar (age 35, a resident of Shonan Society, Navi Peth). Kishor Chandrakant Kalebere (age 58, a resident of Ganesh Peth, Laxmi Road) has lodged a complaint in this regard at the Faraskhana police station.
This incident took place at 11 p.m. on Wednesday in front of Ganraj Lodge on Shivaji Road in Budhwar Peth.
According to the police information, the plaintiff is a businessman, and after dinner, at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, he had gone to eat ice cream on Shivaji Road on his two-wheeler. While he was eating ice cream on the street, two individuals came on a two-wheeler and started abusing the complainant. Surprisingly, when he confronted the accused for abusing him, the accused started arguing and assaulting the plaintiff.
Seeing this, the complainant started running away to save his life. Then the other accused caught him from behind. After that, the first accused hit him on the head with a brick and seriously injured him. At the same time, two policemen, who were patrolling in the area, reached there and brought the accused individuals to the Faraskhana police station.
Police informed that the complainant has been treated at Sassoon Hospital, and his condition is now stable. Police Sub-Inspector Chandrakant Javalgi is investigating the case further.
