Disturbing Crime in Hinjewadi: College Student Beaten, Stripped, and Forced to Apply Balm on Private Parts

A perturbing incident has taken place in Hinjewadi, in which three people brutally assaulted a 20-year-old college student, removed his clothes, and circulated his naked video on social media. In this case, Hinjewadi Police have arrested three accused.
The names of the arrested accused are Shreyas Sanjay Kavade (age 19, a resident of Panache Society, Hinjewadi, and an original native of Dhoki, District Dharashiv), Lalit Pramod Bhadane (age 21, a resident of Panache Society, Hinjewadi, and an original native of Warud, Taluka, Shindkheda, District Dhule), and Ram Tulshiram Gambhire (age 35, a resident of Hadapsar, and an original native of Sikandarpur, District Latur).
A 20-year-old youth has lodged a complaint in this regard at the Hinjewadi police station. The incident took place at the flat of the accused in Panache Society on Marunji Road at 12:30 in the night on January 21.
As per the police information, the plaintiff’s friend called the plaintiff to his flat in Panache Society on January 21. At that time, one of the accused, Ram Gambhire, had given him a cigarette. Mistakenly, it fell on the ground from the plaintiff’s hand. This made the accused Ram Gambhire angry.
In that anger, the accused assaulted the complainant with his hands and feet on the back and stomach and with an iron kada in his hand on the plaintiff’s chest, ribs, and thighs. Further, the accused forcefully stripped the accused and applied Iodex balm to his private parts.
After that, another accused, Lalit Bhadane, took a video of the complainant in a naked state and made it viral on the Friend Circle WhatsApp group. At that time, Ram Gambhire threatened the plaintiff, saying, “Go to whomever you want to go to and lodge a complaint against me. I have 53 such cases against me. No one can harm me.”
After the incident, the Hinjewadi Police have arrested the three, and Senior Police Inspector Kanhaiya Thorat is investigating further in this case.
