Gaja Marne gang members who beat up Murlidhar Mohol’s worker paraded in street (Video)

Pune: The three accused involved in beating up a follower of BJP leader and Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol – Tirthraj Dharmajidnyasu (35), resident of Kothrud, Kiran Kondiba Padval (31), resident of Kothrud, and Amol Vinayak Tapkir, resident of Kothrud – were paraded by the Kothrud Police.

The accused beat up the victim at Bhelke Nagar Chowk on Wednesday (February 19). He received serious injuries in the incident. The police, thus, taught a lesson to the goons. The accused are history-sheeters. Since their image in society is not good, nobody came forward to lodge a complaint against them. Hence, the police sought their police custody to investigate the case thoroughly.

JFMC (First Class) SH Wankhede granted their police custody. The accused have also been charged with attempted murder.

Union Minister Mohol said, “Do not spare the culprits, who beat up an educated youth for no valid reason. They were terrorizing people. Also, take action against those who come to their rescue.

“Why were the Pune Police looking the other way when photos and reels of the culprits went viral? The police should introspect.”
