Pune: Disgusting! Cab Driver Masturbates Looking at Female Software Engineer in Pune; Nabbed by Khadki Police

After the shocking incident of rape on a woman in Swargate ST bus stand, now another distasteful incident has come to light from Pune’s Kalyani Nagar area, where a 20-year-old cab driver misbehaved in front of a female software engineer. As per the report, the cab driver masturbated by looking at the woman through the rearview mirror while he was taking the woman home through his car.

Frightened by the incident, the female software engineer ran away from the car as soon as the car stopped at the signal and directly reached the Khadki Police Station and filed a complaint against the accused. The accused in this case has been identified as Sumit Kumar, and he is an original resident of Unnao, Uttar Pradesh.

This incident took place on February 21, around 7:30 p.m., when the plaintiff booked a cab from the known taxi aggregator app to go to her house after finishing her work. When she sat in the car, the accused cab driver set the mirror of the car in a way so that he could see the woman’s face clearly. After that, when the car reached the Shahdawal Baba chowk, the accused shockingly started masturbating in the car by looking at the woman through the mirror.

The plaintiff woman got panicked by the incident, and she immediately went to the Khadki police station and lodged a complaint against the accused in this regard. On this, the police inspector Gajanan Chormale of Khadki Police Station informed that the accused in this case is from Unnao in Uttar Pradesh, and he had recently come to Pimpri Chinchwad from Mumbai in search of some work.

Gajanan Chormale said, “While the plaintiff was going from her office in Kalyani Nagar to her home in Pimple Saudagar, the accused misbehaved in front of her in the cab. After the plaintiff ran from the car, the accused stopped the car on the highway and ran away from there. Acting swiftly, the police took the booking details and the car number from the plaintiff and accordingly detained the accused.” He further informed that the police have registered a case in this regard against the accused and are investigating further.
