Pune: Medical Report of Accused Dattatray Gade Suggests Multiple Suicide Attempts by Him Before Being Held; Police Will Present Him in Court Today

After 3 days of an intense search operation for the Swargate ST Bus Stand accused, Dattatray Ramdas Gade, the Pune Police finally arrested the accused yesterday. Today, the police will produce the accused in the court. However, before that, the police did a detailed medical examination of the accused. In that medical examination, various shocking facts have come to light. Importantly, it is also being said that the accused had attempted suicide not once, not twice, but a total of three times before being held by the police yesterday.
According to the medical report of Datta Gade, various wounds from a rope have been found on his neck, which clearly supports the fact that the accused attempted to commit suicide. The Pune Police Commissioner, Amitesh Kumar, has also confirmed that the accused had wounds on his neck.
According to the information received, the accused tried to commit suicide in the field yesterday before his arrest. However, this attempt failed when the rope broke. Apart from this, the villagers have also claimed that a bottle of insecticide was found in his hand when he was detained by the police.
Currently, the accused Datta Gade is at Lashkar Police Station, and police are conducting his primary investigation there. The Joint Commissioner of Police, Ranjan Kumar Sharma, and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Smartana Patil, are present there. Gade is being questioned by senior police officers, and soon he will be produced in court.
Meanwhile, to avoid unnecessary chaos and disturbance and to keep intact the law and order in the city, the Pune Police have demanded permission from the court to present Datta Gade in the court through video conferencing. However, the court has not yet given any decision in this regard. Meantime, everyone is waiting for the court’s decision.
