35 rebels giving jitters to Maha Yuti, Maha Vikas Aghadi
Mumbai: Out of 10 major exit polls conducted in Maharashtra, six have favourable findings for the Maha Yuti, three predicted a win for the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and one agency said that it would be a hung assembly.
Many exit polls said that independent and smaller party numbers will be in the range of 20-30. In the case of a hung assembly, independents, smaller parties will play a big role.
Rebels who get elected will be much sought-after. Many rebels from bigger parties have the ability to win the poll. They are from all six parties contesting across the State. In some segments, two MVA and Maha Yuti candidates are contesting against each other.
Over 150 rebels in the fray
Of the total number of candidates in the State polls, there are 2,086 independents. Rebels are in the fray in over 150 segments. Of them, 35 are very strong candidates and can win the poll. They include Samir Bhujbal from Nandgaon, Hina Gavit from Akkalkuwa and Bapu Bhegade from Maval.
Maha Yuti and MVA concerned
People are eager to know how many rebels win or they become a cause for a party candidate’s defeat by eating into their votes.
