Pune: Chandrakant Patil starts poll campaign with visits to eminent citizens in Kothrud; Senior Scientist Dr Vijay Bhatkar praises Patil’s work

Pune: State Minister for Higher and Technical Education, Textile Industry and Parliamentary Affairs Chandrakant Patil has begun his poll campaign after his candidature is announced.
He submitted his nomination form on Thursday (October 24) morning and started visiting eminent and distinguished personalities from various walks of life on Friday (October 25). Chandrakant Patil called on world-renowned Computer Expert and Senior Scientist Padma Bhushan Dr Vijay Bhatkar, who praised the work done by Patil.
Chandrakant Patil kicked off his poll campaign with enthusiasm after the BJP announced his candidature from the Kothrud Assembly segment. He submitted his nomination form on Thursday and attended the Kakad Aarti at the Vitthal Mandir in Kothrud early on Friday. Later, he began meeting prominent personalities within the segment.
During his visits, Chandrakant Patil is getting extensive support and is being welcomed with honour. Therefore, he has taken the lead in the poll campaign. On Friday, he met Dr Vijay Bhatkar, who lauded the Minister’s contribution.
Patil also met and had informal interactions with Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale Proprietors Sanjay Chitale and Indraneel Chitale, Renowned Kathak Exponent Guru Shama Bhate, Vinit Kuber, Ravindra Ghatpande, Bhupal Patwardhan, Dr Deepak Shikarpur and others.
