Pune: Community recitation of Sri Uvasaggaharam Stotra on Sunday (August 25)
Pune: A recitation of Sri Uvasaggaharam Stotra is considered very auspicious in the Jain community. A community recitation of the Stotra is held every year. This is the 8th year of the programme, which was first held in 2017 in the presence of Hon’ble Shri Rasiklalji Dhariwal and Sant and Sadhvi M.S.
A regular recitation of Sri Uvasaggaharam Stotra is believed to stop adverse impact of planetary constellations, to cure diseases and to protect from enemies. Thus, one becomes happy and prosperous.
RMD Foundation President Janhavi Dhariwal Balan and Vice-President Shobha Rasiklalji Dhariwal have organised a community recitation of the Sri Uvasaggaharam Stotra in the presence of Acharya Padmashri Chandanaji M.S. and Pujya Shri Supriyadarshanji M.S. Adithana – 5 between 4 pm and 5 pm on Sunday (August 25) at the Shriman Rasiklalji M Dhariwal Sthanak Bhavan Yash Lawns, Bibvewadi, Pune.
The recitation will start sharp at 4 pm. All, including the elderly, children, the Jain and non-Jain, are invited to participate in the auspicious Stotra, along with families and friends.
It is mandatory for male participants to wear white clothes while female participants have to wear saffron clothes, said Foundation’s Shobha Rasiklalji Dhariwal.
