Pune: Five Minor Boys Murdered Notorious Hooligan from Wanwadi; Police Detained All
Pune: In the fatal altercation that arose between minor children and the notorious hooligan, the minor children killed the hooligan. This incident took place in the Vande Mataram Chowk of Ramtekdi around 1.30 a.m. in the night. In this regard, police have apprehended five children.
The deceased ruffian has been identified as Raju Shivsharan (age 36), a resident of Ramtekdi, Hadapsar. As per the information, Shivsharan has been booked multiple times earlier and has various crimes registered against him at Wanwadi Police Station.
In this regard, Nikhil Kailas Chavan (age 16), a resident of Vande Mataram Chowk, Ramtekdi, has filed a complaint at Wanwadi Police Station. As per the police information, Shivsharan, Mahesh Shinde, Nitin Patole, Arvind Mane, Chetan Bavri, and Durgesh Ballya Gaikwad have been known to each other.
On the night of the incident, all minor children and the ruffian Shivshankar were stopped at Vande Mataram Chowk after drinking alcohol. At that time, the boys asked Raju for money for his alcohol. When he refused to give money, an argument started between them. When Shivsharan abused the boys, a few of them beat Shivsharan with bricks and legs.
One of them threw a stone at Shivsharan’s head, while the other broke a liquor bottle on his head. Mahesh Shinde hit the plaintiff on the head with a bottle and injured the plaintiff, who went to save his maternal uncle. On getting the information, the police immediately took Shivsharan to Sassoon Hospital. However, doctors declared him dead upon his arrival. Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, R. Raja, informed that all five minors have been detained by Wanwadi police.
