Pune: Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Celebrates Tripurari Purnima with Deepotsav and Tulsi Vivah
Pune: The Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati, India’s first public Ganesh Mandal, celebrated Tripurari Purnima with grandeur and devotion. The festivities included a Deepotsav, the Tulsi Vivah, and an offering of 56 bhogs to Lord Ganesh. As part of the tradition, an array of decorative panch pakwans and fresh fruits adorned the altar in front of Bappa.
Maintaining a Legacy of Social Consciousness
True to its tradition, the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Trust has once again demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility. The Trust has decided to donate all the sweets, snacks, and fruits offered to Lord Ganesh to social welfare organisations. This year, the offerings of fruits and sweets will be given to Devtaru Ashram in Dattawadi, the ‘Donate Aid’ organisation in Paud, which supports the education of 300 students and provides daily meals to 90 children, and the Balagram Centre in Bhaje.
A Spectacle of Light and Devotion
On Tripurari Purnima, the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Temple was transformed into a dazzling sight. The temple was adorned with intricate flower arrangements and illuminated with an array of glass lamps. Thousands of devotees thronged the temple to seek blessings from Bappa and witness the spectacular decorations.
All the trust’s office bearers were present on this occasion.
