Pune: Support growing for NCP (SP) candidate in Hadapsar segment

Pune: Many candidates withdrew their nominations from the Hadapsar Assembly constituency on Monday (November 4), on the last date of withdrawal of nominations. They also announced their support to NCP (SP) candidate Prashant Jagtap.
Shiv Sena (UBT) City Unit Vice-President Sameer Tupe, RPI (A) former corporator Adv Ayyub Shaikh and Sayyadbhai Yasin withdrew their nominations as independents and announced their support to the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidate.
Congress worker Dnyaneshwar Kamble, Imranbhai Shaikh, independent Nasim Shaikh and Kisan Admane also withdrew from the fray and supported Prashant Jagtap.
Moreover, social organisations such as the Matang Ekta Andolan and the Maharashtra Rajya Sanghatana submitted their letter of support to Jagtap.
Dialogues with various social sections
Prashant Jagtap interacted with residents of the Saint Patrick Town housing society. He appealed to them to press the button in front of the trumpeter symbol for all-round development of Hadapsar, infrastructural growth and for social harmony in the area. He vowed to work for these causes.
