Pune: Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol Visits Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust; Asks for Betterment of Society (Videos)

Pune : Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol visited the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust during the ongoing Ganeshotsav festivities and performed the aarti after taking darshan of Lord Ganesha.
He visited the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust, which attracts dignitaries from various fields during the festival. At this time, Mohol was welcomed and honoured by the chief of the festival and trustee, Punit Dada Balan.
Speaking to the media after the visit, Mohol expressed his long-standing connection with the trust and praised the atmosphere in which the festival is celebrated. “Every year, I come to Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Mandal to seek Bappa’s darshan and participate in the aarti. My close friend Punit Dada Balan organises the festival in a very spiritual and festive environment. I make it a point not to miss Bappa’s darshan here,” he said.
Mohol also commended Punit Balan’s contributions to Pune’s Ganeshotsav, emphasising the significant role he plays in supporting the festival and various social causes. “Through Punit Balan’s efforts, Pune’s Ganeshotsav has gained a new direction. The Mandal’s workers and volunteers are satisfied and motivated. Balan works for the benefit of the needy, supporting soldiers and athletes alike. His efforts are invaluable, and we must stand behind him strongly,” said Mohol.
Reflecting on the rich history and tradition of Pune’s Ganeshotsav, which has been celebrated for over 130 years, Mohol noted its religious and cultural significance. He added, “Ganeshotsav is a unique tradition in Pune, and it is celebrated with great devotion and in an auspicious atmosphere. May Ganpati Bappa bless the people of Pune and the entire country.”
Mohol further said, “Bappa, you are ‘Vighnaharta’. I ask you to remove all ‘Vighna’ (obstacles) from society and the country. Let your blessings reach farmers, workers, and every citizen, right up to the Prime Minister. With your blessings, may the vision of a developed India by 2047, as envisioned by Modi ji, be fulfilled smoothly,” he stated.
Mohol also highlighted the development work undertaken by the Modi government in Pune, mentioning key projects such as the Pune-Hubli Vande Bharat Express, which is set to start on September 16. “In the last ten years, Modi ji has launched several projects in Pune and Maharashtra. Pune’s first Vande Bharat is set to start soon, along with metro projects like Shivajinagar to Swargate and Swargate to Katraj. These are gifts from Modiji to Pune on the occasion of Ganeshotsav,” he added.
