Pune: Many aspects contribute to the success of a film. Marathi action movie ‘Raanti’, which was released on Friday, is packaged with action scenes, forceful dialogues and emotional drama. Movie buffs have responded overwhelmingly to the first such film in Marathi.

Viewers are eager to watch the film due to its novel teaser, attractive posters and fantastic trailer, along with leading actors. Everybody likes a revenge drama unfolding between the hero and the villain. It has been coupled with action and a different genre is presented in Marathi, which has been appreciated by viewers and critics alike.

According to viewers, ‘Raanti’ guarantees entertainment. They said that the film has a hit formula due to its production value, pace and presentation. It portrays the story in a larger-than-life style. They are attracted to theatres after watching its teaser and trailer. ‘Raanti’, a Punit Balan production and directed by Samit Kakkad, is a powerful Marathi action film.

Raanti’s all shows were booked before its release. Tickets were sold out on the ‘Book My Show’ portal. It has got an excellent rating on the ticketing portal.

A dashing look of actor Sharad Kelkar, who is seen on the silver screen as an ‘angry young man’, has increased his fans and followers. The film’s songs have been applauded. Besides Sharad Kelkar, roles played by Sanjay Narvekar, Santosh Juvekar, Nagesh Bhonsle, Jaywant Wadkar, Sanjay Khapre, Chhaya Kadam, Akshaya Gurav, Kailas Waghmare, Madhav Deochakke, Sushant Shelar, Hitesh Bhojraj, Sanavi Shrivastava and Nayana Mukhe have also been appreciated. Movie buffs said that the action scenes, fights, thrilling sequences get you glued to the screen.

‘Raanti’ will be screened in theatres across the State. It has been received well by audiences due to its storyline, action, music-songs, photography and technical excellence.
