Rupali Chakankar Launches Campaign for Mahayuti Candidate Shankar Mandekar in Bhor; Appeals People to Vote for Mahayuti Government

Pune: Today, the Chairperson of the Maharashtra State Commission for Women, Rupali Chakankar, started the campaign of Mahayuti’s NCP’s candidate in the Bhor-Rajgad-Mulshi Legislative Assembly, Shankar Mandekar. In his campaign rally, Chakankar appealed to people to vote for Mandekar to support the Mahayuti government in the state.

Along with Chakankar, the local cadre of the NCP and the office bearers of the Mahayuti coalition, including NCP candidate Shankar Mandekar, former MLA Sharad Dhamale, former corporator Baburao Chandere, Mulshi taluka president of NCP Ankush More, Kalidas Gopalghare, Chandrakant Bhingare, Amit Kandhare, Rajabhau Hagawane Rajabhau Wagh, Dhairyashsheel Dhamale, Shrikant Kadam, Vinod Kandhare, Vijay Kangude, Vijay Yanpure, Chandrakant Bhingare, Balasaheb Sanas, Ashok Kamble, Mauli Kamble, Akash Wagh, Prakash Wagh, Dinesh Kandhare, Sunil Kadam, Santosh Kandhare, Vijay Kangude, Sachin Amarale, Rajendra Bandal, Anand Ghogare, Lahu Chavan, Dashrath Maharaj Mankar, etc. were present.

While speaking at this occasion, Chakankar said, due to the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana, the women in the state got empowered. To further make women in the state stronger, Chakankar appealed to vote for the Mahayuti coalition in the upcoming election.

Chakankar, while criticising the sitting MLA of Congress, Sangram Thopate, said, “Those who have been leading this area for over 15 years have not developed this area; they have not been able to make even simple roads in the constituency. The Mahayuti government introduced public welfare schemes. Opponents are going to court to stop the scheme. But these schemes will not be closed. But for this, you must vote for the Mahayuti government.”

Chakankar further stated that in the upcoming meeting, she would provide evidence on various issues, including who seized the Raireshwar plot, what happened to the financial dealings of the Dongri Parishad, the status of the Rajgad factory, and what happened to the Datta Digambar transport organisation.

At this time, Shankar Mandekar appealed to people to give him a chance to lead the people. He also criticised the sitting MLA Sangram Thopate and accused him of being negligent to people’s questions in the constituency. Mandekar said, “Students should get a good education, youth should get employment, and farmers should get a proper price for their crops. I have never neglected ordinary workers; I am always available for them. Therefore, you should give me the opportunity, and I will utilise it fully.”
