Pune: Hindustan’s first Ganpati Mandal Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust celebrated Ramnavami with enthusiasm on Sunday (April 6). The Trust organised various religious programmes, including Ganpati Aarti.

A huge and attractive idol of Bhagwan Prabhu Shriram was installed at the Ganpati Mandir on the occasion. The entire Mandir premises were decorated with beautiful flowers.

Hail Services Assistant Director Prashant Wadikar and Family Welfare Assistant Director Dr Sunita Wadikar performed the deity’s Aarti at 7.30 am. According to the tradition, ‘Manachi Tate’ (Gifts and ‘Bhog’ – Holy Meal) were dedicated in the afternoon at the pious feet of Shri Prabhu Ramchandra at Tulshibaug Ram Mandir, Joshi Ram Mandir and Somwar Peth Kalaram Mandir by the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust.

Devotees from across the city crowded the Trust temple to have a ‘Darshan’ (a glimpse) of the deity. All Trustees and office-bearers of the Trust were present.
