Amphibious Landing Operations Showcase Joint Excellence in Exercise Trishul

Pune/Porbandar : Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Southern Command, reviewed the culminating phase of Exercise Trishul at Madhavpur Beach, along the Saurashtra Coast near Porbandar, Gujarat witnessing Amphibious Landing Operations along with integrated land, air and maritime forces.

Exercise Trishul, featured large-scale multi-domain manoeuvres across the Western Seaboard, the Desert Sector and the Rann & Creek Sector, demonstrating exceptional Tri-Services synergy and mission-oriented integration.

The Army Commander embarked onboard INS Jalashwa and reviewed the operational readiness of Amphibious Forces of the Bison divison of Sudarshan Chakra corps along with Vice Adm Krishna Swaminathan, FOC-in-C, Western Naval Command, and Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, AOC-in-C South Western Air Command. He oversaw the launch of the first Infantry Platoon with Tank by Landing Craft Mechanised (LCM) during the opening wave of beaching operations.

The Amphibious Landing Operations demonstrated seamless coordination between ground forces, naval platforms and air assets, validating Indian Armed Forces capability to project combat power from sea to land under realistic operational conditions. The exercise also witnessed fusion of technology and integrated employment of Infantry, Mechanised elements and the innovative employment of drones.

Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth commended the professionalism, jointsmanship and interoperability displayed by all soldiers, sailors and air warriors participating in the exercise.

The successful conduct of Exercise Trishul reaffirms India’s joint combat readiness, integrated multi-domain and multi-spectrum capabilities, technology absorption and the Armed Forces’ enduring commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat.
