Ajit Pawar will become District Guardian Minister: Dattatraya Bharne
Pune: It is almost a month since the Maha Yuti government came to power in the State. The State Cabinet was also expanded and portfolios were distributed. However, some leaders from the alliance are not happy because they were not made ministers while others are unhappy even after becoming ministers because they did not get desired portfolios. They have not assumed office yet.
Speaking to the media Indapur MLA and State Minister Dattatraya Bharne said, “Let others speculate. Only Ajit Pawar will become the District Guardian Minister.”
BJP leader and State Minister Chandrakant Patil recently indicated about the District Guardian Minister’s post. It is said that there is a tug of war within the Maha Yuti over the post.
Bharne on not assuming charge
When asked whether he was unhappy with the portfolio allotted to him, Dattatraya Bharne said, “I went abroad. I will visit Mumbai next week. I am not unhappy. I could not go abroad for the past 10 years. I have just arrived from abroad. There is no substance in discussions that I am unhappy about the portfolio. I will assume office as a minister next week. We are doing a good work under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.”
Comment on the District Guardian Minister’s post
Bharne said, “There are no differences in the Maha Yuti over the post of the District Guardian Minister. Everything will happen as you desire. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will take a proper decision in this regard. Let others speculate. But only Ajit Pawar will become the District Guardian Minister.”
Paying tributes at Koregaon Bhima
Dattatraya Bharne paid tributes at the Shaurya Stambh at Koregaon Bhima on the occasion of 207th ‘Shaurya Din’. Speaking to the media later, he said, “The administration has made good arrangements for the 207th ‘Shaurya Din’. I reviewed the preparations. Right from traffic management to making arrangements for visitors, the administration has done well. In the case of any shortcomings, better facilities will be provided in the future. Financial aid will also be given.”
