Ajit Pawar’s regret of leaving Sharad Pawar should reflect in action: NCP (SP)
Mumbai: NCP (AP) President and DyCM Ajit Pawar recently publicly admitted in the Jan Sanman Yatra for the second time that it was his mistake to leave his uncle Sharad Pawar.
Reacting to this, NCP (SP) spokesman Mahesh Tapase said, “If Ajit Pawar really regrets his decision and genuinely advises other leaders not to split their families due to politics, then he should, first of all, give Sharad Pawar’s NCP back to him.
“Ajit Pawar took away leaders and workers groomed for many years. If Ajit Pawar really feels what he says from the bottom of his heart, then he should show it through his actions. We are pleased to see this change of mind. But it has to reflect in action.”
During his tour of Chandrapur district, Ajit Pawar commented on State Minister and his party colleague Dharmarao Baba Atram daughter’s decision to join the NCP (SP).
He said, “Nobody loves a woman as much as her father. It is not right that you (Atram’s daughter) are splitting your family. Society does not like such things. I have experienced this. It was a big mistake when I left Saheb (Sharad Pawar). I have admitted this before.”
