Dummy Candidate Found in Foreign Medical Graduate Examination in Pune; Wanwadi Police Register Complaint Against Accused

A shocking incident has occurred in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination in Pune, where a dummy candidate was found to have taken the exam in place of another candidate. Examiner Vishal Laxman Bhosale has filed a complaint in this regard at Wanwadi Police Station.

Accordingly, the police have registered a case against the dummy candidate. The dummy candidate has been identified as Anwar Maqbul Alam (age 26, a resident of Mohammad Nagar, Padri Bazar). The incident took place between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at the iON Digital Zone in Ramtekdi.

According to the police information, the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam December 2024 was held at the iON Digital Zone in Ramtekdi on Sunday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The exam was organised by Tata Consultancy Services on behalf of the National Board of Examinations.

While the examination was going on, examiner Vishal Bhosale found that Anwar Maqbul Alam had appeared as a dummy candidate in the paper in place of Saurabh Sanjay Srivastava (a resident of Bhatwalia, District Deoria, Uttar Pradesh). After that, Vishal Bhosale lodged a complaint against Anwar Alam at Wanwadi police station.

A case was registered against Alam as he appeared as a dummy candidate in place of Srivastava and cheated Tata Consultancy Services and the National Board of Examinations. Police Sub-Inspector Palve is investigating further in this case.
