On Wednesday, November 27, Satish Thopte was standing on the road to Sushila Park near his house. At that time, a group of four to five people came there with machetes in their hands, and they launched a violent attack on Thopte. In the altercation between Thopte and the accused, the accused brutally stabbed Thopte and injured him. After the attack, Thopte was taken to the nearby hospital. However, he died during the treatment.

As per the police information, the main accused, Bhau Kiwale, had taken a home loan of 25 lakh rupees on Satish Thopte’s name.
