Health awareness during spiritual celebration

Pune: A free health check-up camp will be jointly organised by Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust and Indrani Balan Foundation during Ganeshotsav. Devotees visiting the Ganapati mandal for Darshan (bowing down to the deity) and have a glimpse of the decoration will be able to avail of the health check-up.

Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust Celebration Chief and Trustee Punit Balan gave details of the initiative. Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust and Indrani Balan Foundation jointly organise various initiatives during the Ganpati Festival. The free check-up camp is being held mainly for Ganesh devotees for the past two years. This year, the camp will be held from 11 am to 5 pm from August 18 to September 5. Important tests such as CBC, cholesterol, cretin, SGOT, SGPT, RBS, blood, urine, bilirubin, etc, will be conducted during the camp. Reports of tests will be made available on mobile phones.
