Group of People Attacked Man with Machete After Questioning Group’s Aggression, Sparks Fear in Area

In a shocking turn of events, a group of individuals attacked a man with a machete, leaving him injured after he questioned them about pushing him and attempted to instil fear in the area. This incident took place at Matoshree Chowk in Ashok Nagar at 10 p.m. on Friday.
In this regard, Chandrakant Baban Todkar (age 49, a resident of Ashok Nagar, Yerawada) has lodged a complaint at Yerawada Police Station. Accordingly, the police have registered a case against Ashish Navghare, Amol, and their four accomplices.
According to the information given by the police, the complainant, Chandrakant Todkar, was going to get his ironed clothes. At that time, the local goons, Ashish Navghare and Amol from the area, deliberately pushed him. When the plaintiff asked them the reason for pushing him, the accused hit the complainant on the face, eyes, and back with their hands and injured him. Further, Ashish Navghare took out the machete he had on his waist and assaulted the complainant’s face with the backside fist of the machete and injured him.
During the incident, the accused waved a machete in the air, attempting to instil fear in the area. He threatened that anyone opposing him would face dire consequences. Terrified by his actions, residents shut down their shops and homes, fearing for their safety. The Assistant Police Inspector Dinesh Kumar Patil is conducting further investigation in this case.
