Highlight of poll campaign: Support growing for Bapusaheb Pathare in Vadgaon Sheri
Pune: Former corporator Rekha Tingre and Chandrakant Tingre from the Vadgaon Sheri segment joined the NCP (SP) in the presence of NCP Founder Sharad Pawar. Party City Incharge Ankush Kakade and senior leader Prakash (Appa) Mhaske were present.
Bapusaheb Pathare said, “I heartily welcome your decision to join the party for the development of the constituency. Your entry into the party will definitely strengthen the NCP (SP) and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). Your contribution in the impending victory will be valuable.”
Rekah Tingre said, “We will achieve the goal of development with unanimity and unity.”
Earlier, former corporator Sunita Salunkhe, her husband Anil Salunkhe, former Yerwada corporator Hanif Shaikh, Farzana Shaikh and Ayub Shaikh extended their support to Maha Yuti candidate Bapusaheb Pathare. This has been strengthening the position of Pathare.
Those who are extending their support are making a point to mention that Bapusaheb Pathare carried out development work in their respective area. He sincerely looked into the problems of citizens. They trusted him as a good people’s representative.
Moreover, office-bearers of other political parties are also willing to support Pathare. Leading party workers, social workers and local leaders are ready to back him. This will strengthen the MVA and they assured that they would work unitedly for the MVA’s victory in the election.
