IMD predicts heavy rainfall for 2-3 days in Pune
Pune: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall for the next three days in Pune. The city received rains in the past two days too.
Rainfall has been reactivated in the State. Heavy showers lashed the city in the past two-three days. Cloudy weather prevailed on Tuesday (August 20) across Maharashtra, barring some areas in Vidarbha. Moderate to heavy rainfall has been forecasted. The city and the district may receive heavy rains.
Many parts of the State witnessed rainfall on Tuesday too. However, it was not evenly distributed across the State. The met office issued a yellow alert in Vidarbha, Marathwada, Khandesh, central Maharashtra and Konkan.
Heavy rainfall has been predicted in the districts of Vidarbah while light to moderate showers are likely to occur in some areas of Marathwada. Heavy rains may lash Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, Nashik, Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar districts.
