Independent candidate Manish Anand gets huge response from voters in Gokhale Nagar; expresses confidence that people would stand firmly behind him

Pune: Congress rebels are contesting as independents in three constituencies out of the eight seats in the city. Aba Bagul from Parvati, Kamal Vyavahare from Kasba Peth and Manish Anand from Shivajinagar are the rebels.

Hence, there is a triangular contest in the Shivajinagar segment in the State poll. BJP’s Siddharth Shirole, Congressman Datta Bahirat and independent Manish Anand are the major candidates. They are campaigning hard in the constituency.

Meanwhile, Manish Anand met citizens in Gokhale Nagar. He received an overwhelming response from voters. They aired their grievances during Anand’s visit to their area. He promised to solve their issues in the near future.

Manish Anand said, “Citizens can check what I have done. My work is visible. People will firmly support me this time.”
