Late-Night Terror in Pune: Trio Damages 25 to 30 Vehicles in Bibvewadi and Surrounding Areas, Police Arrest All from Velhe (Videos)

In the early morning hours, three individuals vandalised 25 to 30 vehicles in the Bibvewadi, Upper Indira Nagar, Durgamata Garden, and Rajiv Gandhi Nagar areas to create terror. The incident, which took place at 2:45 a.m., has created panic in the area. Citizens are expressing great anger over the damage to the vehicles.
Amidst this, the Bibvewadi Police have successfully arrested the accused individuals from Sapegaon in Velhe taluka. The arrested individuals are identified as Andy, alias Niranjan Deokar, Abhishek Pandhare, and Ganraj Sunil Thakar.
In the recent few months, stone-pelting incidences on vehicles have become more frequent in Bibvewadi, Parvati, and Janata Vasahat areas. Six months ago, a similar incident took place, where a large amount of vehicles were vandalised by some accused by stone pelting.
According to the information given by the police, in the Upper Indira Nagar area of Bibvewadi at around 2:45 a.m., three people attacked tempos, cars, rickshaws, and two-wheelers parked on the road with a machete and broke their windows. The accused were moving forward, breaking the windows of the vehicles one after the other.
Car Driver Injured
Meanwhile, during this incident, a car driver who was sleeping in his car was injured after broken glass from the car’s window fell on him. His hands received serious injuries in this incident. Upon learning about the incident, the police rushed to the spot. By then, the gang had fled from the area. The police then tracked them down and arrested the three from Sapegaon in Velhe taluka.
Third Incident of Vandalism
While sharing the horrifying incident, a female from the area has said that this is the third time her car has been damaged by the accused. In this regard, Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Rajkumar Shinde said that 25 to 30 vehicles were vandalised in the Bibvewadi area around dawn. A panchnama is being conducted by the police. The three people who committed this vandalism have been arrested by the police from Velhe taluka.
