Manoj Jarange Patil will be our Chief Ministerial face: Rajratna Ambedkar
Ch. Sambhaji Nagar: Bharatiya Bauddha Mahasabha Sanghatana President Rajratna Ambedkar has said that the Chief Ministerial face of the third front will be Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange Patil.
He said, “We will contest the State Assembly elections to win and not to defeat anyone. We want to mobilise the Maratha, Dhangar, Muslim, Bouddha, Lingayat, Matang and Mali communities and appeal to them to support us. The Maha Yuti, the Maha Vikas Aghadi are only pursuing party politics. We should stop them and true representatives of the people should be elected. When society befriends us, this political ruin will stop.
“We have to send the real representatives of Maharashtra to the State Legislative Assembly. If we get the expected number of seats, Manoj Jarange Patil will be the face of our alliance.”
Rajratna Ambedkar is on a Marathwada tour. He was speaking to the media. He said, “Manoj Jarange Patil has put his life on stake for the people. We are touring the State to maintain social harmony. We are currently touring Marathwada and moving on later to Vidarbha. We are supporting Jarange in his fight for reservations. The ST category has 29 seats in the State Assembly, out of which the BJP has stolen 15. What moral right does the BJP have to field their candidates in constituencies reserved for the ST category?
“Our true representatives will be sent to the State Assembly who will voice concerns of society. We will field candidates who do not have any political background. We are not a political party in this sense. But we will together contest the elections.
“Manoj Jarange Patil will make an important announcement on the occasion of Dasara Melawa. It will be the beginning of a new Maharashtra. Talks are progressing and the entire State will be eager to know the announcement. People from all communities will be with us. Our representatives will present the Maratha quota issue in the State Assembly. We will oppose the National Education Policy (NEP). Children of ministers are getting quality education. We want the same education for our children. There should be only one education policy in the State. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s agriculture policy will be followed.
“The ruling and opposition alliances have lost political morality. If the BJP and Uddhav Thackeray join hands in the future, the people in the State will not be shocked. The people feel that they can come together any time. They are merely pretending to fight. This has to stop. No Maratha, Bouddha and Muslim will vote for the BJP. Some members of my family will be lured by the ruling party. No Ambedkarite will join the BJP or vote for them.
“Fadnavis is controlling the agitation against Manoj Jarange Patil from the Sagar bungalow. We saw the character of agitators on our TV screens. They are trying to drive a wedge between the Marathas and the OBCs. Both the communities have awakened now. Riots do not take place anywhere in Maharashtra but agitations are controlled from the Sagar bungalow.”
