No water supply in Pune on Thursday (April 3)

Pune: The civic body will suspend water supply to the entire city on Thursday (April 3) for maintenance and repair before the summer season.
The civic administration has appealed to citizens to cooperate with them. On Friday (April 4), water supply will be delayed and with low pressure.
According to the details provided by the civic administration, urgent work related to maintenance and repair will be undertaken on the same day at the Parvati New Water Treatment Centre (500 MLD), Parvati Old Water Treatment Centre and all main water tanks thereunder, Parvati Tanker Point, Bhama-Askhed Water Centre, Lashkar Centre, Holkar Centre, Vadgaon Centre area, Rajiv Gandhi Pumping Station Katraj Chowk area (Kedareshwar, Mahadev Nagar, Shrihari and Agam Mandir water tanks), Khadakwasla Jackwell Warje phase 1 and 2, Warje Centre, under which SNDT, HLR and tank area, Chandni Chowk tank area, Gandhi Bhavan Tank area, Pancard Club GSR tank area, GSR Tank area near Warje Centre, Khadakwasla Raw Water, Ganpathi Matha and Old Warje Centre, SNDT (MLR) area and Chatuhshrungi Tank area, Kondhwe-Dhawde Centre and Raw Water Centre.
All these centres will remain closed as demand for water is growing in the summer. Water supply could be suspended suddenly if the summer repairs and maintenance is not done in time.
