OBCs stage agitation in front of Ajit Pawar’s residence in Baramati for denying Chhagan Bhujbal ministership
Baramati: The Sakal OBC Samaj held a dharna agitation in front of DyCM Ajit Pawar’s residence in the Sahayog Housing Society here and condemned the non-inclusion of their leader Chhagan Bhujbal in the State Cabinet.
A petition was handed over to the Police Inspector. OBCs in the State are unhappy as Chhagan Bhujbal has not been made a minister. The petition stated that over 97 pc voters from the Sakal OBC Samaj voted for the NCP (AP). Bhujbal was purposely sidelined in the cabinet expansion. He unilaterally fought for the OBCs. It was an injustice meted out to the OBCs in the State. It was also their humiliation. Therefore, the community agitated in front of Pawar’s residence.
The petition has signatures of Dnyaneshwar Kaule, Anil Ladkat, Nilesh Tilekar, Kishor Hingne, Bapurao Lokhande, Sanjay Girme, Datta Lonkar, Bapu Bankar and Mahavir Lonkar.
