Parivartan Maha Shakti eyes rebels from Maha Yuti, Maha Vikas Aghadi; to announce first list of 100 candidates, says Bachchu Kadu
Mumbai: The newly formed alliance Parivartan Maha Shakti (PMS) is likely to soon announce its first list of 100 candidates for the State Legislative Assembly, said MLA and PMS leader Bachchu Kadu.
Kadu said that they are watching developments in the Maha Yuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and would welcome select rebels in their fold.
The PMS alliance is led by Swarajya Party leader Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati, Swabhimani Party’s Raju Shetti and Prahar Janshakti’s Bachhu Kadu.
The first list of candidates has been announced by the BJP-Maha Yuti while tension prevails in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) over seat-sharing. Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi’s Prakash Ambedkar has started announcing candidates. Now, people are curious to know who would be fielded from the PMS. Kadu has now indicated that they would woo rebels from the major alliances.
Kadu said, “Raju Shetti, Sambhajiraje and I will discuss the list today. We will first declare the list of 100 candidates today or tomorrow. These are strong seats for us. Later, we will name other candidates. We are watching developments in the Maha Yuti and the MVA. We will field some rebels from them. We will fight against big leaders from these alliances. We are not afraid of it.”
He said whether Maratha quota leader Manoj Jarange Patil would join or not and their alliance’s stance towards him would be declared after Samabhajiraje held discussions with him.
Kadu said, “The BJP is making its own candidates scapegoats. That is the prevailing situation. The Ranas have ensured that the BJP would be routed from Amravati. Pravin Tayde is a new worker and has many cases registered against him. Loyalists have been ignored. It indicates the party’s loss, which is ruling at the Centre. The BJP and the Congress would join hands in Achalpur to defeat me.”
