Petrol Pump Attendant Lost His Eye After Gas Nozzle Exploded While Filling Gas in Dhankawadi

A shocking incident has come to light from CNG Petrol Pump in Dhankawadi, where a petrol pump attendant lost his left eye permanently after the gas nozzle of a CNG pump exploded and hit his left eye while filling it with gas. This incident took place at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at the S Square CNG petrol pump in Teen Hatti Chowk in Dhankawadi.
In this regard, Harshad Ganesh Gehlot (age 23, a resident of Shankar Maharaj Vasahat, Dhankawadi) has lodged a complaint at Sahakar Nagar Police Station. Accordingly, the police have registered a case against the owner and manager of the petrol pump, Dhairyasheel Pansare and Rahit Harkurki.
As per the police information, Dhairyasheel Pansare owns an S Square CNG petrol pump in the Teen Hatti Chowk area of Dhankawadi. In this petrol pump, the plaintiff Harshad Gehlot had been working for the last one year as a petrol pump attendant. However, while Harshad was working at the petrol pump, the owner of the petrol pump, Dhairyasheel Pansare, and manager, Rahit Harkurki, did not take any measure to ensure Harshad’s safety.
As a result, when Harshad was filling CNG gas at a petrol pump on Sunday evening, he lost his eye permanently after the gas nozzle of a CNG pump exploded and hit his left eye while filling it with gas. The police constable, Chavan, is conducting further investigation in this case.
