Pimpri: Anti-Narcotics Cell Arrests Woman in Chakan with 18 kg of Ganja Worth Rs 9.4 Lakh

In a commendable act, the Anti-Narcotics Cell has arrested a woman who was smuggling ganja in the Chakan industrial area and seized 18 kg of ganja along with goods worth Rs 9 lakh 41 thousand from her possession.
The arrested woman has been identified as Sonali Sunil Mohite (age 25, a resident in front of Shani Temple, Chakan, Taluka Khed). As the woman confessed that she brought this ganja from Vishal Mohite (a resident of Pangri, Taluka Khed) and Mayur Raskar (a resident of Shikrapur), the police also registered a case against these two people.
In this regard, Police Ammaldar Vijay Deepak Daundkar of the Anti-Narcotics Cell, Pimpri, lodged a complaint at Chakan Police Station. As per the police information, Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Kadam, Police Sub-Inspector Dnyaneshwar Dalvi, Police Ammaldar Rajendra Bamble, Shilpa Kamble, Vijay Daundkar, Nikhil Shete, Sadanand Rudrakshe, and Nikhil Varpe from the Anti-Narcotics Cell were patrolling in the Chakan area.
At that time, police Ammaldar Vijay Daundkar and Nikhil Varpe got information that a woman was illegally selling ganja in a house in front of Banga Tyres and Battery Shop on Pune Nashik Highway in the limits of Medankarwadi village. According to this information, the police raided the house of Sonali Mohite and seized 18 kg and 624 grams of ganja and 1 mobile phone worth Rs 9 lakh 41 thousand 200 from her.
Subsequently, police arrested the woman, and the police sub-inspector Borkar is investigating further in this case.
