Pimpri Chinchwad Police Crack Down on Organised Crime Gangs: 13 Criminals Arrested

Pimpri : Organised crime is a heading problem in front of the police department in Pimpri Chinchwad city. To completely eliminate this trouble, Police Commissioner Vinoy Kumar Choubey has taken strategic action against three gangs that are operating in the city. In the police action, police have arrested 13 criminals who are running a nefarious nexus of murder, grievous hurt, forced theft, robbery, kidnapping, burglary, theft, vehicle vandalism, attempted culpable homicide, and illegal possession of deadly weapons in the city.
These criminals belong to the Pagar gang, Dalvi gang, and Kale gang and have multiple complaints registered against them at Hinjewadi, Bhosari MIDC, Mahalunge MIDC, Pimpri, Nigdi, Gangapur, and Mhasrul police stations. They have long been targets of the police department, and finally they have all been apprehended by the police and booked under the stringent MCOCA Act.
As per the police information, seven crimes have been registered against criminals of the Dalvi and Kale gangs, whereas 10 crimes have been registered against the Pagar gang at various police stations in the city. The criminals of these gangs are accused of committing the crime with the aim of increasing personal and gang dominance and financial gain, as well as creating terror among the public.
The arrested individuals and their respective Gang names are as follows:
- Dalvi Gang: Omkar Malhari Dalvi (gang leader) (age 22, and a resident of Charholi Phata, Dighi), Yogesh Jagannath Mule (age 21), Ganesh Krishna Gawari (age 19), both residents of Chakrapani Vasahat, Bhosari, Vijay Virender Chavan (age 19, and a resident of Sadgurunagar, Bhosari), Sachin alias Pirappa Jagannath Yere (age 20), and Tejas Chandrakant Dongre (age 22), both residents of Dhavade Vasti, Bhosari.
- Kale Gang: Raju Kale (gang leader) (age 24), Avinash Subhash Patre (age 19), Vinayak Dayanand Kshirsagar (age 20), and Suresh Kate (all residents of Shankarnagar, Chinchwad).
- Pagar Gang: Sachin Sahebrao Pagar (gang leader) (age 31, and an original resident of Nashik), Deepak Bhagwan Jadhav (age 26, and a resident of Chakan, native of Jalgaon), and Yogesh Shivaji Dabhade.
Under the guidance of Police Commissioner Vinoy Kumar Choubey, strategic action has been taken against a total of 148 accused from 25 organised crime gangs so far this year.
This action was taken by the team of Senior Police Inspector Kanhaiya Thorat (Hinjewadi), Nitin Phatangre (Bhosari), Ashok Kadlak (Pimpri), Anil Devde (PCB), Police Sub-Inspector Kendre, Police Naik Ubhe, Omkar Band, Kotekar, constable Sachin Chavan, and Venkappa Karbhari under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Vinay Kumar Choubey, Joint Commissioner of Police Shashikant Mahavarkar, Additional Commissioner of Police Vasant Pardeshi, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sandeep Doifode, Deputy Commissioner Bapu Bangar, Deputy Commissioner Swapna Gore, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Vishal Hire.
