Pimpri: Shocking Murder in Walhekarwadi: Boyfriend Kills Girlfriend with Pillow and Knife

In a shocking incident, a boyfriend entered the girlfriend’s room and killed her by covering her mouth with a pillow and stabbing a weapon in her stomach due to an argument between the two. This incident took place in Walhekarwadi on Wednesday afternoon between 10:30 and 11:00.
In this, the girl, namely, Jyoti Navnath Kesarkar (age 29), a resident of Laxmi Nagar, Walhekarwadi, has died. In this regard, a 30-year-old woman who lives with the deceased girl has filed a complaint at the Chinchwad police station. Accordingly, the police have registered a case against Jyoti’s boyfriend Sahil.
According to the information provided by the police, the plaintiff, Jyoti Kesarkar, and one of her friends are living together in Walhekarwadi and work in the hotel. The plaintiff and Jyoti are original residents of Mattiwade village in Nipani taluka. Both of them left the village and came to work in Pune as their husbands were beating them after drinking alcohol.
The police further informed that Jyoti had a boyfriend named Sahil from Yamagarni, a village near Mattiwade village in Nipani taluka, and he occasionally comes to Pune to meet Jyoti. However, because of an argument between Sahil and Jyoti over some reason, they both had not been talking with each other since the last two months.
On Wednesday morning, the plaintiff alone went to the hotel from her room as Jyoti was coming to the hotel late at night. However, at 3 p.m., when the plaintiff came back to the room, she noticed that Jyoti was lying unconscious on the bed, and there was a pillow over her face. A sheet was pulled over the body. When the plaintiff removed the sheet, she saw blood coming from Jyoti’s stomach.
After that, when the manager checked the CCTV, it was seen that Sahil arrived at Jyoti’s room around 10:35 and left after 10 minutes. From that, it was confirmed that Sahil killed Jyoti by pressing a pillow over her face and stabbing her in the stomach with a weapon. Senior Police Inspector Kolu is investigating further in this case.
