Pimpri: Transfer spree continues in city police force; 19 more officers shifted
Pimpri: The ongoing transfer session within the City Police Force shows no signs of slowing down. Following the transfer of 26 officers, Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey has approved the internal transfer of 19 additional officers, including Police Inspectors, Assistant Police Inspectors, and Sub-Inspectors.
The most recent transfers include Police Inspector Gorakh Kumhar, from the Crime Branch, has been reassigned to Wakad Police Station,Suhas Awhad (Pimpri) Police, Vijay Kumar Vakse, previously with the Traffic Branch has been transferred to Dehurod Police Station, Rupali Bobde moves from the Special Branch to the Traffic Branch, Nitin Phatangre has been shifted from Bhosari to Ravet Police Station, Mahendra Kadam moves from the Traffic Branch to Rawet, Ravikiran Nale, who was stationed at Wakad Police Station, will now be part of the Cyber Cell, Ankush Bangar has been transferred from the Control Room to the Traffic Branch, Praveen Kamble moves from the Special Branch to Mahalunge and Vijay Dhamal has been reassigned from the Control Room to the Crime Branch.
Additionally, five Assistant Police Inspectors have been transferred, including Sachin Kadam from Dehurod to the Crime Branch, Sandeep Deshmukh from Pimpri to Ravet Thane, Ganesh Londhe from the Special Branch to the Traffic Branch, Nakul Nyamane from Chikhli to Chakan Police Station, Ram Gomare from Hinjewadi to the Crime Branch. Six Sub-Inspectors from various branches have also been transferred. Key moves include Kiran Shinde from Mahalunge to the Special Branch, Ashok Kendre from Bhosari to Shirgaon, Balaji Jonapalle from Bhosari to Wakad, Suryabhan Kadam from Sangvi to the Control Room, Mukesh Mohare from Bhosari to Talegaon Dabhade and Santosh Dollare from the Control Room to the Transport Branch.
Cancellation of Transfer Orders
In a separate development, the attachment orders of three officers have been canceled. Senior Police Inspector Jitendra Koli, originally attached to the Control Room, has been reinstated at Chinchwad Police Station. Police Sub-Inspector Satej Jadhav, initially attached to the headquarters, has returned to the Hinjewadi Traffic Department. Additionally, Police Sub-Inspector Sachin Deshmukh’s transfer from Pimpri to Wakad Police Station has been canceled.
The transfer session continues as part of the ongoing restructuring efforts within the city police force.
