Pune: 19-Year-Old Girl Committed Suicide in Hinjewadi After Being Rejected for Marriage Despite of Love Affair; Police Arrest Two

Pune: A startling incident has come to light in Hinjewadi, where a 19-year-old girl has committed suicide by hanging after her boyfriend refused marriage. This incident took place on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the deceased girl’s house. In this case, Hinjewadi police have arrested two individuals, including her boyfriend.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Subodh Sudheer Sakhare (age 25, a resident of Sakhare Vasti, Hinjewadi, Taluka Mulshi) and Rohan Sudam Parkhi (age 30, a resident of Mulani Vasti, Maan, Taluka Mulshi). Police also registered a complaint against the mothers of both the arrested accused and one more woman in this case.

In this regard, Kailas Murlidhar Gaikwad (age 40, a resident of Hinjewadi) has registered a police complaint at Hinjewadi Police Station.

As per the police information, the plaintiff’s 19-year-old daughter and Subodh Sakhare were in a romantic relationship with each other for the past few years. Therefore, the deceased girl was insisting on Subodh for marriage. However, Subodh and his family refused the girl marriage and told her that in no case they would marry Subodh to her.

After this, the girl suffered from depression, and under that mental pressure, she committed suicide in her house on Saturday afternoon. The Police Sub-Inspector Jhol is conducting further investigation into the case.
