Various shocking facts are coming to light in the BJP MLC Yogesh Tilekar’s maternal uncle and hotelier, Satish Wagh’s murder case. A few days ago, the police arrested the wife of Satish Wagh for orchestrating Wagh’s murder along with the accused. In this case, police demanded judicial custody for other accused, including Wagh’s wife Mohini, in the court, keeping the rights of police custody of those accused intact.

Accordingly, the court ordered sending Mohini and the other accused to Yerawada jail. Police are also going to investigate bank details of the accused involved in this murder case.

On December 10, Satish Wagh was kidnapped and brutally murdered near Wagholi. After investigating the case, the police then arrested Satish Wagh’s wife, Mohini (age 48); Akshay, alias Sonya Harish Jawalkar (age 29); both residents of Fursungi Phata; Pawan Shyamsundar Sharma (age 30, a resident of Avhalwadi); Navnath Arjun Gursale (age 31, a resident of Wagholi, and an original resident of Beed); Vikas, alias Vicky Sitaram Shinde (age 28, a resident of Wagholi, and an original resident of Ahilya Nagar); and Atish Santosh Jadhav (age 20, a resident of Lonikand, and an original resident of Dharashiv).

The investigation revealed that Mohini had given a contract of Rs. 5 lakh to the accused to kill her husband, Satish Wagh. When all the accused were presented in the court, police argued that they needed to investigate the bank details of all the accused in connection with Wagh’s murder. Further, Public Prosecutor Jyoti Waghmare argued that to investigate the main mastermind behind this murder, the court should keep the right of police custody of the accused intact and meanwhile should grant judicial custody to all the accused.

Further, Public Prosecutor Jyoti Waghmare informed the court that the accused had thrown the weapons used in the assassination of Wagh in the Bhima river basin near Perne Phata. The police tried to find the weapons with the help of submarines; however, they did not get it. After listening to their arguments, the First Class Judicial Magistrate, Pracheta Rathod, ordered the remand of the accused in judicial custody at Yerawada Jail.

In this case, police informed the court that the testimony of 22 witnesses will be recorded, and the accused will also be questioned in accordance with the investigation. Police also informed that the sticks and knives used by the accused for the murder of Wagh and the car and two-wheeler used by the accused for the kidnapping of Wagh have been seized by the police. Meanwhile, the police have done a technical analysis of the mobile numbers of the accused.
