According to Sarpanch Somnath Dattatray Kanse’s complaint, the incident occurred on the morning of the 16th during a public event. After the complaint, police acted swiftly and arrested him. The Saswad court had initially granted four days of police custody.
Due to increasing attacks on elected local representatives, fear has spread among villagers. This incident highlights the growing audacity and pressure of illegal liquor operators.
