Pune: Ganesh Bhakts are coming in hordes to catch a glimpse of their favourite deity at various Ganesh mandals. Many dignitaries are visiting Hindustan’s first Ganesh mandal Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati.
MNS Student’s Wing President and Young Leader Amit Raj Thackeray visited the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganesh Mandal. Amit Thackeray took ‘Darshan’ of Bappa and performed ‘Aarti’. Celebration Chief and Trustee Punit Balan welcomed Amit Thackeray and felicitated him.
Ganeshotsav is celebrated with much fanfare in Pune. The main attractions of Pune’s Ganesh Festival are idols with distinct features and grand decoration. Devotees raise slogans such as ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ and ‘Mangalmurti Morya’, which fills the atmosphere with devotion.
