Pune: Anti-Narcotics Cell Arrests Three People for Illegally Possessing Drugs, Seizes Drugs Worth Rs 19.45 Lakh

The Anti-Narcotics Cell apprehended three individuals for the illegal possession of three drugs, including ganja, MD, and LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide). During the operation, the police confiscated OG Kush ganja, MD, and LSD drugs valued at Rs 19.45 lakh from the accused.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Anshul Santosh Mishra (age 27, a resident of Saraf Line, Mishra Niwas, Buldhana), Aarsh Uday Vyas (age 25, a resident of Pantnagar, Ghatkopar, Mumbai), and Piyush Sharad Ingale (age 22, a resident of Chikhali, Chinchwad).
On Monday, the team of the Anti-Narcotics Cell was patrolling. At that time, Police Ammaldar Sandip Shirke received a tip-off, suggesting that few people were coming to Bhumkar Chowk in Narhe while carrying drugs with them. Accordingly, police set up a trap. While patrolling in the area, police found three people strolling near Krushna Ghodnadikar Tower.
The police then detained the individuals and, during the subsequent search, found 251 grams of OG Kush ganja valued at Rs 17,41,000, 15 grams of MD, 62 grams of LSD, and additional contraband worth Rs 2,40,000 with them. The total value of the seized substances amounts to Rs 19,45,000. In this regard, a case has been registered against the three accused under the NDPS Act at Sinhagad Road Police Station.
This action was taken by the team of Police Inspector Sudarshan Gaikwad, Police Inspector Ulhas Kadam, Assistant Police Inspector Aniket Pote, Police Sub-Inspector Digambar Kokate, Police Ammaldar Sandip Shirke, Sachin Malve, Vinayak Salve, Pravin Uttekar, Sandesh Kakade, Dattaram Jadhav, Sujit Wadekar, Nutan Ware, Rehana Sheikh, and Vipul Gaikwad under the guidance of Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, Joint Police Commissioner Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Additional Police Commissioner Shailesh Balkawade, Deputy Commissioner of Police Nikhil Pingle, and Assistant Police Commissioner Ganesh Ingale.
