Pune Anti-Narcotics Cell Nabs Drug Peddler from Kondhwa; Confiscates 12 kg Ganja Worth Rs 2.5 Lakh
Pune : The Anti-Narcotics Cell has successfully arrested the drug peddler from Kondhwa and seized 12 kg of Ganja worth Rs 2.5 lakh from him. In this regard, a complaint has been registered against the accused, Mobeen Abdul Rasheed Shaikh, age 37, a resident of Sadar Bazar, Solapur.
According to the information, Assistant Police Inspector Nitinkumar Naik, Police Sub-Inspector Ramkrishna Dalvi, and their colleagues were patrolling in the Kondhwa area. At that time, police Ammaldar Azim Shaikh received a tip-off from an informant that a person was coming to Kondhwa to sell illicit Ganja.
Immediately, the team of the Anti-Narcotics Cell went to the spot to verify this information. Accordingly, police detained Mobeen Shaikh, who was stopped on the roadside. In the subsequent action, police seized 12 kg of Ganja and a mobile phone worth Rs 2.50 lakh from him. In this regard, a case has been registered against him at Kondhwa Police Station.
This action was taken by the team of Police Inspector Sudarshan Gaikwad, Assistant Police Inspector Nitinkumar Naik, Police Sub-Inspector Ramkrishan Dalvi, Police Sub-Inspector Ghule, Police Ammaldar Sahil Shaikh, Azim Shaikh, Yogesh Mandhare, Chetan Gaikwad, Sandeep Shelke, Sandeep Jadhav, Nitin Jagdale, and Nilam Patil, under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Additional Commissioner of Police Shailesh Balkawade, Deputy Commissioner of Police Nikhil Pingle, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Satish Govekar.
